PARTNERSHIPS, NETWORKS, LINKS AND COLLABORATIONS
KDWSP is a member to professional bodies and a board member to UWASNET (Uganda Water and Sanitation Network) which is an umbrella for all civil societies in water and sanitation services. It is for the second term the Chair for URWA (Uganda Rainwater Association) which builds a benchmark for common understanding, sharing and strengthening rainwater harvest as a viable means of improving access to safe water.
It is a member of Micha network, Evangelical alliance, Connected Churches Network and Transform Programme. It collaborates well with other civil society organizations in Kigezi and Kabale District Local government. KDWSP works closely with Ministry of water and Environment of Uganda, Albert Water Management Zone for interchange of ideas, learning and sharing, policy and technical input from mandated institutions
Working with local governments for sustainable WASH projects in communities, we hand over not only a toolbox but well-trained community-based care takers, artisans, water and sanitation committees and well empowered communities to sustain WASH projects and exploit the opportunity of access to water to improve livelihoods.
